What’s new for Spare Parts!
Welcome to the new look Spare Parts website! Now you can buy large or small ensemble arrangements plus study scores and download them immediately.
There is a new look scores and parts page. The new format means we can give you more information about each chart. It’s now easy to see instrumentation, featured soloists, basic feel and more.
Jim McNeely’s wonderful study scores of arrangements from “Up From the Skies” and “Paul Klee” are still available.
New charts from Mike Gibbs include a vocal arrangement of jazz standard “It’s Only a Paper Moon” plus originals “Mosher” and “Grow Your Own”. Updated versions of “With All Due Respect”, “Liturgy” and “You Get the Picture” are now up.
Bill Motzing has contributed new saxophone ensemble pieces. Gai’s Small Big Band pieces for classroom and 12-pce mixed ensemble are now available as a kit through the Australian Music Centre. All five arrangements have additional solo and scale pages plus comping, piano voicings, bass lines and trouble shooting suggestions. To have a listen to them click here for Mp3’s.
